What: Zombie Pub Crawl and Pre-Party
When: Sunday, October 14th starting at 7:00 pm
Where:  Starting at ZaPow Gallery, and continuing on to various bars around downtown (shown below)
Details: 

Pre-party at ZaPow! from 7:00-9:00 pm ~ face painting, palm reading, live music, art viewing, zombie makeup, a raffle, and lots of undead fun! Live music by Asheville-area musician Ben Wilson.

All ages!

Free Beer! ~ Courtesy of the French Broad Brewing Company. Valid ID required.

Please keep in mind that ZaPow! is a functioning art gallery, and we expect our shambling undead to be responsible and respectful of the space. Your zombie breaks it, you buy it.

        

9:00 PM ~ Zombies invade downtown Asheville!

The Ashtoberfest Zombie Pub Crawl is working with a number of downtown bars and locations to provide a themed experience for all our zombies. Please patronize our sponsoring bars and pubs, but feel free to shuffle about at your own discretion. Valid ID required for admission into all participating locations!

**PLEASE BE AWARE: We expect all participating zombies to cooperate fully with the law in this event. This means no drunk and disorderly contact, no clogging up the streets, and NO. DRUNK. DRIVING. Seriously, secure a ride home before planning to attend.**

Ashtoberfest is not responsible for the actions of zombies in the street, or in private establishments. Inappropriate actions will be handled by private security at each location, at their discretion.

A Note to Families and Younger Zombies: We’ve always tried very hard to provide an environment that is inviting to all ages, and we absolutely adore the zombie families. If you cannot participate in this year’s Pub Crawl, do not fret! We will continue to organize and host fundraisers throughout the coming year, and we will strive to make these events “all-ages” when possible.

The Asheville Zombie Walk wants to come back for 2013, and will fight to the end to keep giving you the quality event you’ve come to expect from us for almost a decade now, but we need your help! Ashtoberfest, the organization behind the Zombie Walk, needs funding, we need community support, and frankly… we need your love.
